How does reiki work?

We are alive because life force is flowing through us. Life force flows within the physical body though chakras and meridians. It also flows around us in a field of energy called the aura. Life force nourishes the organs and cells of the body, supporting them in their vital functions. When this flow of life force is disrupted, it causes diminished function in one or more of the organs and tissues of the physical body.

The life force is responsive to thoughts and feelings. It becomes disrupted when we accept, either consciously or unconsciously, negative thoughts or feelings about ourselves. These negative thoughts and feelings attach themselves to the energy field and cause a disruption in the flow of life force. This diminishes the vital function of the organs and cells of the physical body.

How does reiki heal?

Reiki heals by flowing through the affected parts of the energy field and charging them with positive energy. It raises the vibratory level of the energy field in and around the physical body where the negative thoughts and feelings are attached. This causes the negative energy to break apart and fall away. In so doing, Reiki clears, straightens and heals the energy pathways, thus allowing the life force to flow in a healthy and natural way.

How does distance reiki work?

Reiki works in a similar way to other energetic frequencies we cannot see like electricity, radio waves, and wi-fi signals. In order for them to work, they have to be tuned in to a source of power and Distant Reiki works the same way.

As a Reiki practitioner I acts as a conduit and tune the healing energy to you. Distance is not an obstacle for Reiki in the same way that it isn’t for cell phones or the internet.

How does a reiki session work?

We will set up an appointment. I will then call you and we will establish your intention for the sesssion. I will hang up the phone and begin to send reiki to you in line with your intentions. After 45 minutes, I will stop the session and you can continue to work with the energies in meditation, relaxation, a cup of tea or a shower. I will send you a little message to suggest ways to integrate the energy you have received.

Reiki is a powerful transformational technique that can be used on its own or in tandem with tarot and astrology.
